Golden Plains Credit Union is pleased to announce, Rosa E. Saenz, as the new President/CEO.
Saenz has been at Golden Plains Credit Union for 24 years. She was previously the Senior Vice President, Lending.
Saenz attended Garden City High School and Garden City Community College, where she earned an Associate Degree in Science with an emphasis in Business Administration. Saenz also graduated from Friends University with a Bachelor Degree of Science in Organizational Management & Leadership and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
She officially took over as President in August.
“My predecessors have done an amazing job building and growing our credit union over the last 71 years,” Saenz said. “In my new position, I hope to continue building upon the excellent work they have done and taking our credit union to new levels.”
Saenz is a Western Kansas native from Garden City. Her and her Husband, David share three children – Ian (13), Ari (9) and Eli (6). Her hobbies include spending time with her family in the outdoors camping, fishing and boating. Her family also enjoys creating new memories on vacations at the beach and in the Colorado mountains.
