Our Community Involvement team chose four local charities that we were able to bless with monetary donations. This year we provided a donation check to Liberal Area Rape Crisis and Domestic Violence Service, Stepping Stones Homeless Shelter, Southwest Miracles, and Bright Futures. Each of these charities were very well deserving and work hard to make Liberal a better place. The staff here also put together Christmas baskets that we delivered to each of the local nursing homes/assisted living facilities. We chose one of the care homes to make individual Christmas bags for each of the residents. It was an awesome experience to give back at the holidays and live out the Credit Union philosophy of People helping People!
